Peter Carter

Peter has been working in the field of education and training for over thirty years. For many years, he has specialised in adult learning, using a variety of delivery and assessment techniques. In particular he has a great deal of experience in self-paced learning and Internet delivery of training, as well as instructor-led and facilitated training.

Peter has worked with major companies such as Spherion Education Pty. Ltd. (formerly Computer Power) and Hales Business College as well as Ministry of Education (Victoria) and Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania U.S.

Peter has extensive experience in project management especially in the areas of curriculum development designing self-paced curriculum and assessment, for delivery via print, CD-ROM, LAN and the Internet, as well as designing learning delivery methodologies and LAN and WAN technologies to enable e-learning. He has overseen projects assessing learning styles analysis of adult learners and has first hand experience of the impact of preferred learning styles on student cognition.
